Root, Branch, Crystal
A concert exploring the parallels between structures in nature and musical structures; without resorting to simple mimesis, composers have long taken account of the ways in which the patterns and forms of music mirror the branching paths of nature. Repertoire featured will include The Weight of a Reflection by c)i composer member Kyle Bartlett, and works by Pierre Jalbert, Frances White and Anna Weesner.
Tickets are not required for this concert; there is a suggested $15 donation at the door.
